Meet Our Doctor
Education and Experience!
Dr. Kashner studied Chemical Engineering in the honors program at the University of Delaware and Delaware State University. After he achieved his degree, he then continued his education at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and the Dental School at the University of Maryland where he graduated at the top of his class, Suma Cum Laude. After dental school Dr. Kashner realized that his passion for patients lay in the field of orthodontics and he began to peruse that avenue of dentistry. With orthodontics being a highly specialized field of dentistry, and the University of Washington Orthodontic program having one of the ranked programs in the nation, Dr. Kashner was honored to be chosen to attend the graduate program at this prestigious university. He also received a master's degree in the Science of Dentistry from the University of Washington. After many years of rigorous training and experience from coast to coast, he is able to provide the best possible orthodontic care for the Kent, Covington, and Maple Valley areas!
Giving Back and Staying Involved!
With Dr. Kashner's commitment to provide the best possible care for his patients, he is continuously taking continuing education courses. Dr. Kashner is an active and upstanding member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists and the Washington State Society of Orthodontists. Currently, he holds the position of Public Relations Chair for the WSSO. Over the years he has earned many honors such as The Children Merit Award from American Society of Dentistry and the University Gold Medal for Scholarship and Certificate of Merit. He is also a part of the Children with Special Healthcare Needs SW Washington Maxillofacial Team and two Orthodontic Study Clubs.

Clinical Assistant
My name is Jenn and I am a clinical assistant at Dr. Kashners office. I have been in the Orthodontic field since 1998. It brings me great joy watching our patients self esteem grow with their beautiful smiles. What I enjoy most about working with Dr. Kashner is that he truly cares for his staff as if they are family. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter and our two labs.
Financial Coordinator
Hello my name is Cheryl and I am the Financial Coordinator for Dr. Kashner. I started in Orthodontics in 1982. It is so exciting to see patients come alive as their smiles do. Joining this amazing team in 2014. I love working with a practice strictly dedicated to their patients and overall excellence. In my free time you can find me with my large extended family or volunteering at Auburn Adventist Academy.
Treatment Coordinator
Hello! My name is Brenda and I am the treatment coordinator here at Dr. Kashner's office. You will see me at your first visit here with our office. I have been involved in the orthodontic field since 1981 and working with Dr. Kashner since 2009. I absolutely love establishing relationships with our patients and their families while giving them a reason to smile. I am very proud to be a part of such an amazing orthodontic team!! When I'm not in the office I enjoy working out at the gym and spending time with my husband, my five beautiful children and my granddaughter.
Professional Relations
Hi, my name is Susan and I am the Professional Relations Coordinator for Dr. Kashner. I graduated from dental hygiene school in 1988 and worked as a dental hygienist until 2008. Soon after I became a stay at home mom. When our daughter Alexandra began Kindergarten, I joined the office staff part time. I love being part of the Kashner Team! Working with community dentists and staff as well as our patients has been a g great new experience for me, especially since I am not only a staff member, I am married to Jeff. In my spare time I enjoy volunteering at Alexandra's school, gardening, and working out at the gym or spending quality time with my family at home.
Special Projects Coordinator
Josh and his wife Melissa are digital marketing consultants that help out the office from time to time with special projects, contests, and more! Their daughter Natalie is also a current patient of Dr. Kashner.
